It’s no coincidence that Trump dropped his lawsuit against New York AG Letitia James less than a day after she was hit with nearly a million dollars in sanctions in Florida for her frivolous lawsuit against Hillary Clinton.
ABC News reported:
The withdrawal came in a brief filed Friday morning with US District Judge Donald Middlebrooks, who warned Trump’s legal team late Thursday that the lawsuit was on the verge of frivolity.
“Plaintiff, President Donald J. Trump, through his undersigned attorney and pursuant to Fed. R. Civ P. 41(a)(1)(A)(i), her claims in this action against defendant LETITIA JAMES are hereby voluntarily dismissed without prejudice,” the letter said.
…
Trump’s lawsuit against James alleges her “intimidation and harassment” and repeated “trying to steal, destroy or control everything Trump is.”

The lawsuit was a political stunt intended to make Trump look ‘strong’ as he cleans up his watch in courts across the country. He and his lawyers have been hit with sanctions imposed by a judge in connection with Trump’s lawsuit against Hillary Clinton.
Frivolous lawsuits can come at a very high cost. The goal should be to stop lawyers who know better than to do Trump’s bidding and clog the courts with nonsense.
By getting lucky and winning for once, Trump has revealed himself as one of history’s greatest losers.
