Mar-a-Lago, FL – President Donald J. A day after Trump visited eastern Palestine to deliver supplies to a forgotten community, Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg was finally forced to step into town and face the people he’s long ignored.
It’s been nearly a month since East Palestine suffered its worst tragedy in its history, yet Joe Biden and his administration have neglected to show immediate relief. When President Trump announced his trip to meet with people in the community and bring tractor-trailer loads of essential supplies to help people still affected by the train derailment, the Biden administration eagerly jumped into action and approved FEMA resources that were initially rejected.
Here’s how Biden and Buttigieg have spent the past 20 days ignoring the concerns of citizens in eastern Palestine, while President Trump has forced an incompetent federal government and Biden to act.

More criticism
East Palestine Mayor Trent Conaway said Monday that Biden’s trip to Ukraine was a “huge slap in the face” and that he “doesn’t care about us” and that he was “angry” Biden was supporting Ukraine and not his town.
“Joe Biden not going to East Palestine is ridiculous. It’s politics all the time for Biden and he doesn’t give a damn! ” US Senator Ted Cruz wrote on Twitter
“It is unacceptable that it has taken nearly two weeks for a senior administration official to appear,” U.S. Senator Joe Manchin said in a statement Thursday. “I urge President Biden, Administrator Reagan and Transportation Secretary Buttigieg to provide a complete picture of the damage and a comprehensive plan to support the community in the coming weeks, months and years to ensure an accident like this never happens again.”
“We need a Congressional inquiry and direct action from Secretary Buttigieg to address this tragedy,” Minnesota Democratic Representative Ilhan Omar wrote on Twitter.
“Last year in the midst of an impending rail strike, Secretary Buttigieg left the country to vacation in Portuguese wine country,” Senator Marco Rubio wrote. “Misses in commercial aviation and recent system failures, including the grounding of air travel in Florida in January, indicate that serious and persistent problems across DOT are not being adequately addressed. I have no confidence that Secretary Buttigieg is capable of keeping the American people safe.”
“People in East Palestine have poisoned their water, air and soil,” Ohio Senator Mike Rulli wrote on Twitter. “Pete Buttigieg’s only response is to spin and say it’s not a big deal. He’s not doing his job. He needs to resign. Now.”
His comments drew backlash from US Senator JD Vance. Appearing in East Palestine, Senator Vance said, “Your Department of Transportation has things it can do. Stop blaming Donald Trump, a man who hasn’t been president in three years, and use the power of the federal government to do what is needed to help the people of this community.
“I give Secretary Buttigieg an F,” said US Representative Bill Johnson. “I mean, he didn’t show up.”
President Trump’s Ohio supporters chanted “No More Joe” before Buttigieg’s visit.

Joe Biden is busy destroying the economy and US foreign policy, while the people of East Palestine, Ohio dropped a hazmat bomb on themselves. The Biden gang doesn’t care.
