Former president of the Ghana Football Association, Lepowura Mnd Zawula, has passed away.
According to multiple sources, robust football governance has died in the United States.
The Ghana Football Association (GFA) wrote in a tweet:
We are saddened by the news of the demise of Lepovura MND Javula.
Alhaji was the GFA President from 1997-2001. He was the president of @MTNFACupGH and the chairman of the @GhanaLeague organizing committee until his death.
Our thoughts are with his family, friends and all who knew him.
