Overview Kimley-Horn's is seeking a Mechanical Engineer-In-Training with 2+ years of experience to join the Fort Worth, Texas (TX) office! Responsibilities Utilize technical software programs on a regular basis to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables for our clients. Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to produce our clients’ visions for the future built environment. Develop familiarity with the federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Kimley-Horn’s and our client’s practices, procedures, and standards. Perform general mechanical engineering tasks supporting various project managers as required. Support our Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing team specifically working on large scale HVAC design. Project type will vary but may include Airports, Facilities, Universities, and more. Qualifications 2+ years experience in a similar mechnical engineering role An ABET accredited engineering degree (Bachelors or Masters) in Mechanical Engineering EIT/EI certification or have the ability to obtain certification Excellent verbal and written communication Ability to apply technical skills to meet project demands and solve problems for our clients Positive attitude and an impressive work ethic Clear sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet deadlines Attention to details and ability to contribute to a positive work environment Passion and demonstrated drive to achieve goals Exposure to AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel, and/or SolidWorks Why Kimley-Horn?
