You can always count on the liberal machine to jump on the adage, “Never let a good crisis go to waste.”
He certainly experimented with this strategy this weekend. After news of the mass shooting in California hit, liberals fell over themselves to feign sympathy and outrage over apparent ‘racism’ and ‘white supremacy’. That gave impetus to this heinous crime.
Unfortunately for the left, the facts behind the crime did not match their virtue signaling. Interestingly, none of the tweets blasted regarding the connection between the shooter and racism seem to have been flagged as misinformation.
Perhaps that argument suggests that their accusations are simply false, They weren’t.
Let’s take a look at some of the great hits or should I say, misses from some of the left wing blue checkmarks.

Not so subtle
Before releasing any facts about who the shooter was, let alone what the motive for the crime was, Democrats were really quick to pin the blame on ‘hate’ and ‘bigotry’. All those horrible white dudes are full of white rage and white supremacy.
New House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries of the Democrats declared:
“We must stamp out hatred and intolerance wherever and whenever it occurs.”

Congressman Adam Schiff expressed solidarity with the Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) community:
“Horrifying example of gratuitous gun violence. Bigotry toward AAPI individuals is a possible motive.
Oh, really, Adam? And what evidence do you have that hatred of Asian Americans was a possible motive?
The answer is nothing; There is no evidence to suggest this was a hate crime.
But the evidence doesn’t matter that much, certainly not to Arizona Gov. Katie Hobbs, who said:
“These mass shootings cannot continue, and Arizona stands together with the AAPI community against hate.”
So who is this face of Asian hate, this man full of bigotry and perhaps white supremacy?

Old Asian Guy
The suspected gunman was identified as a 72-year-old Asian man. Talk about a plot twist.
But as Senator Chuck Schumer said:
“We must stand against bigotry and hate wherever they rear their ugly heads…”
Asian-on-Asian crime is no joke, folks, and it’s time we put a stop to this bigotry that Asian men have against their fellow Asians, perhaps motivated by the rampant and systemic white supremacy ingrained in their systems.
Democratic Wisconsin state representative Francesca Hong explains:
“This tragedy is beyond hatred. We are too broken as a nation to have mass shootings and white supremacy terror.
Hearts are heavy for the victims and their loved ones.
Lunar New Year is a time of togetherness, celebration and love.
This tragedy is beyond hatred.
We are too broken as a nation to have mass shootings and white supremacy terror. Our community is torn apart. https://t.co/S6Omoj10Qt

So why did an old man of Asians decide to kill ten fellow Asians? The motive is still unclear, although there are rumors that it could be a domestic dispute.
However, intentions don’t matter, Monterey Park City Council member Thomas Wang explained when he said:
“Regardless of motive and whether it’s a hate crime, this type of violence is instilling fear in our community, in our Asian American community.”
Only because you want to, because it’s easier to control people through fear than to focus on facts and reality, justified or not.

#EndAsianHate
Pretentious self-absorbed liberals act passively, giving a damn about people or events by temporarily changing their Facebook profile picture; Now, a new generation of empathetic posers use trending hashtags to show the world how much better they are than you.
For example, shortly after the news of the shooting in California broke, #EndAsianHate and #StopAsianHate started trending on Twitter.
Amnesty International, for example, blasted:
“We must end apartheid. We must end gun violence. We must end white supremacy. #StopAsianHate”

Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass also posted:
“As investigations determine whether these murders were motivated by Asian hatred, we stand united against all attempts to divide us.”
Unless those efforts are made by the left, it’s just good politics.
Michael Luo, editor of the New Yorker, lamented:
“We are still seen by many as aliens; Indefensible. I am bracing myself for the purpose. “
Michael, have you tightened yourself up enough? Want to drop another hot take on how a 72-year-old Asian man who killed ten other Asians adds to your theory that Asians are discriminated against?
Oh wait, I know, I know; I bet he identified as white; After all, if you’re to believe the narrative these days, anyone might have white supremacy adding to the latest list of institutions embracing diversity in our country.

More excuses, less facts
Now that the news broke that it wasn’t a white male who killed 10 in Monterey Park, the left has deftly turned to its other villain when it comes to crime, all of us gun-loving Republicans.
As a junior Biden representative, Victor Shi spat:
“I don’t want to hear a single thought or prayer from Republicans about the mass shooting in Monterey Park. I want action. I want Republicans to finally reform our nation’s broken gun laws and condemn anti-Asian hate in all its forms. Until then, offer my condolences.

Again, we must all condemn this heinous Asian-on-Asian hate crime. Who knew Asians could harbor so much anti-Asian hatred?
As for those broken gun laws – last I checked, California has one of the strictest gun laws in the country and it has yet to be revealed that the shooter obtained their guns illegally.
If they had, I think California’s ridiculous gun laws would be ineffective. If he doesn’t, I think…that means California’s absurd gun laws are ineffective.
So spare me your artificial contempt and sadness, Vic.

Oh wait, he’s a man
Again, don’t despair that the shooter is not a white man; The fact that he is a man is enough to impeach him for something completely unrelated to the crime.
Professional activist David Hogg enlightens us:
“There’s a reason most of these shooters are men. You can’t talk about gun violence without talking about the patriarchy. “

Oh, yes, because there have been several studies that show that having a strong father in the home leads to mass shootings. But, oh, wait, that’s not right; Actually, it’s bananas.
Now, you might be thinking, I’m having a good time with this article; How fun it must be for this conservative ‘Karen’ to do what the left claims he did and profit from a disaster. You would be wrong.
I don’t find it funny that we are dominated by obnoxious politicians and media who could care less about crime and death, rather they trivialize tragedy to score quick, cheap divisive political points.
When will we learn that these people don’t care what happens to any of us; Are they only concerned with the energy they can store?
Now is the time to support and share sources you trust.
