Being a woman is very difficult; This is the truth. I should know, I’m a woman. You are expected to be all things to all people all the time: wife, mother, feminine, strong, intelligent, sober, compassionate, empathetic, beautiful, edgy…the list goes on.
It has been from the time the good Lord blessed Sarah to be the mother of nations until today. But, of course, being human is also difficult, at least I imagine; I don’t know because I’m not human. But I do know that I expect men to be strong, smart, sober, compassionate, tough, compassionate, resilient…the list goes on and on, and in many ways, reflect the same traits expected of women.
Apparently, being a woman in politics is especially difficult, at least as the left likes it…those on the right deserve every bit of unfair treatment they get.
The latest catalyst for left-wing mainstream media to whine about sexism is the alleged brutal treatment of New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern.
#Prime Minister @jacindaardern Resigned today. I’m not surprised and I don’t blame her. Her treatment in the past few months, Rashi has been humiliating and embarrassing. All bullies, misogynists, sufferers. She deserved so much better. A great leader. Thanks PM! pic.twitter.com/7b1AhjBXrW

I’m just a girl
This week New Zealand Prime Minister and the world’s favorite left-wing hip ‘It Girl’ Jacinda Ardern announced her decision to resign because this year is burning out, at least according to her.
As she said:
“You can’t and shouldn’t do the job unless you have a full tank, plus some reserve for those unplanned and unexpected challenges.”

I agree with her statement 100%; We have too many leaders in too many industries who hold the mantle when they are not fully dedicated to the cause. But to give her some credit, she may have stuck around; After all, our president is running on an empty tank and holding up just fine.
A lot of people have rallied behind the former DJ-turned-political superstar, saying increased threats to his life played a role in his resignation.
As for the threats, one can make an educated guess that these relate to New Zealand’s harsh, authoritarian COVID policies and Ardern’s tendency to act and speak like an autocratic dictator. (This is not an excuse, but merely an explanation.)
Sandra Pepera, director of the National Democratic Institute’s Gender, Women and Democracy team, said of her resignation and the treatment of women in politics:
“When women stand up for their space in politics and public life, there is a backlash that follows. It’s a global phenomenon. It happens almost everywhere.”
That is an interesting statement; Let’s discuss this concept ‘space right.’

I have been a woman my entire life, approaching 40 wonderful years. It’s not always easy, especially after I spent 20 years in the United States military.
I dealt with a lot of sexism through the ranks, all but two of my commanders were men, many of whom expected me to be pretty and manage their calendars. But at no point did I expect to receive ‘space’ at the table or in the leadership arena because of my chromosomes, which is part of the problem facing today’s feminist movement.
Whether you’re a man or a woman, don’t claim your seat at the table in your particular industry as yours by default. However, it should be earned based on your performance and tenacity.
For example, when PM Ardern was elected in 2017, she became the youngest woman in the world to head a government. She later became the second to give birth while in office.
Why do we care about such trivial things? What does the purely normal biological function of youth, sex, or childbirth mean in relation to leadership?
Giorgia Meloni, who was elected as the next Italian Prime Minister, did not have the same fans. But because she’s not a cool hip progressive.
Putin: “We will continue to be your only source of truth. It’s not true unless you hear it from us. “
Oh, sorry, Putin never said that. Jacinda Ardern of New Zealand said.

Haters gonna hate
There is a double standard between how the world treats women and men, no doubt. However, I would argue that the double standard with which right-wing women are treated by the media against left-wing women is more abhorrent.
Let’s take a trip down memory lane, shall we? Not long ago, the mean girls on “The View” said that then-Republican presidential candidate Carly Fiorina’s face looked like a “demented Halloween mask.”
The abuse Kellyanne Conway received over her makeup, face and clothes was as brutal as, if not worse than, Hillary Clinton’s, along with jokes about performing sexual acts in the Oval Office, and in a rare sign, drew outrage from Chelsea Clinton. Feminine unity.
And, of course, there was the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, where then-Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders sat through a ‘comedy’ routine built around making fun of her face.
But it was all just a joke, right? It was trendy at the time for poor Vice President Kamala Harris to put up with constant criticism of her job performance, often rooted in what the mainstream media and left-wing pundits claimed were sexist or racist.
Do I condone any of this? No, I think it’s juvenile, disgusting and unfair. But I think women can be bad at their jobs and deserve valid criticism based on their performance.
Which brings me to the real reason PM Ardern resigned.
It’s like a psycho voice. she is #jacindardern When she told people she was still over whatever she was in the past #NewZealand They don’t want to check that they will be kept in an isolation facility for much longer…pic.twitter.com/MztlgaccA6

the one who leaves
Regarding the violent threats Ms. Axios article on Ardern’s resignation
“These threats against women in public office can have a tangible impact on whether women seek and want to stay in government — let alone whether they succeed.”
I think that’s true, but I’d argue that it’s more the women’s fault than those throwing the threats. Since when do we allow weak-minded intellectual Neanderthals to scare us from pursuing our dreams and goals?
I think that’s what we do now. Mrs Ardern may have resigned because, although she is still loved by the global elite, her voters have grown weary of her hard-left policies, as evidenced by her government’s plummeting polls.
It’s easier to come off as a coward and let the media tell you people are too mean to you than to take responsibility for your mistakes. In fact, last month when an opposition member asked her if she had any policies, she apologized for getting caught on the hot mic, calling her “such an arrogant prick”.
I’m sure it didn’t help him in the election.
Why are people acting like Jacinda Ardern stepping down is wonderful and admirable.
She’s going down because there’s no way she’s going to win. – She failed.
She was a coward and left before being held accountable at the ballot box

reality
Here’s my advice as a woman who has overcome adversity and young women and little girls like my daughter who always get a fair amount of hate from strangers: Life is hard and you will always be judged on things that don’t matter, like your gender.
There will always be people who want you to be some version of what they think a woman should be, and those versions are always on the opposite spectrum. You can use this as a crutch and hold yourself back and become a victim of this injustice.
Or you can put on your big girl panties and do bad things. Contrary to popular belief, you don’t need to see other women in the positions you want to see yourself in.
Gender only matters if you decide it matters. Be a true trailblazer, earn your ‘space’ in the world or be a quitter.
It’s totally up to you ladies.
