Ray Garcia has trusted Bank of America with his money for over 20 years.
…
“I was surprised, oh,” Garcia said. “So I checked my transactions. I have 15 different Zelle transactions. That was a red flag for me right there because I don’t remember doing it all in one day.
He says about $700 is missing from his account. He called customer service with no luck getting a representative.
There is an issue with Bank of America where Zell transfers after 1/9 are not reflected in your bank account balance. I almost lost my mind when I saw that $2,000 was missing from my account.
Not accepting calls because of “eliminating circumstances” is madness. Call me!!!

How cool @BankofAmerica A large Zelle transaction that had already posted and I was using to pay bills magically disappeared. Now I owe so much on my checking and I can’t afford them. Unbelievable.

Bank of America acknowledged the problem but said it had been fixed.
Zelle said the issues had nothing to do with “any issues with the Zelle network.”
Fox Business reported:
Bank of America Zelle acknowledged there was a problem processing transactions, but said it had been resolved later Wednesday.
“We had an issue where there was a delay in posting Zelle transactions. It was resolved earlier today, so all transactions are showing up in people’s accounts,” Bank of America spokesman Bill Haldin told FOX Business.
Zelle, a peer-to-peer payment processor available through more than 1,700 financial institutions, said “this issue is not the result of any issues with the Zelle network.”
“We understand that Zelle Network Financial may have experienced issues processing some of their customers’ Zelle transactions, which have now been resolved,” a Zelle spokesperson told Fox Business.
