    ROH wrestling star Jay Briscoe has died at age 38

    Jay Briscoe, one of the greatest tag team wrestlers in Ring of Honor history, has died at the age of 38.

    Jamin Pugh, who went by the wrestling stage name of Jay Briscoe, was a 13-time tag team champion with his brother Mark Pugh.

    The news of Pugh’s death was broken by ROH and AEW owner Tony Khan.

    Khan wrote in a tweet: “Sadly, Jamin Pugh has passed away. Known to fans as Jay Briscoe, he has been a star in ROH for 20 years from his first show to the present day.

    The owner of ROH continues “Jay and his brother Mark dominated ROH, reigning as champions to this day. We will do whatever it takes to support his family. Rest in Peace Jamin’.

    Sadly, Jamin Pugh has passed away. Known to fans as Jay Briscoe, he was a star in ROH for 20 years from his first show to the present day.
    Jay and his brother Mark dominated ROH, reigning as champions to this day. We will do whatever it takes to support his family.

    The New York Post reported that Jay died in a fatal car accident in his hometown of Laurel, Delaware.

    In his hometown of Laurel, Delaware Jay was loved by everyone.

    So, the local high school cancels school, giving the town some time to properly mourn.

    Here’s some footage of Hall of Famer Jay putting on an amazing show inside the ring with his brother Mark.

    Jay had a tough personality in the ring as well as outside the ring, he was an outspoken Christian admired by his family and friends.

    RIP Jay, you are no longer flying from the top ropes but are now flying in heaven.
