The Northern Development Authority (NDA) has been in the news in recent times due to some cases related to corruption in the office.
In a letter dated December 21 and signed by the Chief of Staff, Freema Ose-Opare, Yir-Ngu Engmen noted that he is expected to fully hand over his duties and any official assets to the Chief Executive Officer of the Northern Development Authority before his departure.
His dismissal is expected to take effect from March 21, 2023.
“We wish to inform you that the President has decided to terminate your appointment as Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Northern Development Authority with effect from 21 March 2023.”
Mr. Yir-Eru Engmen was appointed by President Akufo-Addo in 2018 as one of the two Deputy Chief Executive Officers of the Northern Development Authority (NDA).
