The meeting of two sacred fitness legends was completed in 2022.
At the beginning of this century, Ronnie Coleman and Jay Cutler were two of the most prominent names in bodybuilding. The trio worked through respective sets of lat pulldowns, switched to seated cable rows and single-arm machine rows, and incorporated alternating traditional dumbbell curls throughout their routine. He did not specify the exact numbers and reps for each respective set.
In a treat for any observer and avid fan, Coleman and Cutler used the workout as an opportunity to swap typical anecdotes from Olympia legend to Olympia legend. This may be an inside look at what the two men’s shoes looked like when they were in their athletic primes.
Coleman and Cutler are astute enough to know that what they now have to offer bodybuilding is commensurate with their sheer wisdom and experience. It touched his excitement to watch Hadi Choopan finally climb Mount Olympia after a workout.
For a time they were rivals. In the present, Coleman and Cutler can happily embrace their roles as stewards of bodybuilding’s past and future.
