Former Biden White House press secretary Jen Psaki is getting her own show on MSNBC. The program airs on Sunday afternoons to compete with other Sunday news programs.
George W. Dana Perino, Bush’s former press secretary, works for Fox News, but her supporters push back against critics who say Perino didn’t go to Fox News a year after leaving the White House. Psaki left his post in May 2022.
This is not really surprising news. When Psaki took over the White House role, people immediately began speculating that she would eventually end up at CNN or MSNBC.
MSNBC issued this press release:
MSNBC’s Inside with Jen Psaki debuts Sunday, March 19
Inside is Jen Psaki Psaki uses his extensive expertise to tackle the week’s big issues, including one-on-one interviews with newsmakers. Every Sunday, he breaks down and makes sense of the most complex public policy debates taking place in the nation’s capital, from the debt ceiling to the war in Ukraine to the political campaign trail and more. In a special recurring segment, “Weekend Routine,” Psaki pulls back the curtain on the daily lives of notable lawmakers and influential thought leaders. They shadow each reporter as they move through their normal activities discussing their work, careers and personal lives, identifying a side that is both unique and not usually seen.
Psaki will continue to appear throughout MSNBC’s regular and special coverage programs, including election coverage, to provide insight into Washington politics as the 2024 presidential race takes shape. He remains a prominent voice in NBC News’ primetime coverage of major political events and is a regular contributor to NBC News’ Today, Meet the Press and Election Night programs.
Psaki served as the highly respected White House press secretary during the first 16 months of the Biden administration. He previously served as White House communications director and spokesman at the State Department in the Obama administration. He is an alum of John Kerry’s presidential campaign, the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, and President Obama’s 2008 and 2012 campaigns, and was a key member of the Biden-Harris transition team.
This work has been going on for months. She was having this conversation while still working on the taxpayers dime.
It was widely known that she was negotiating the deal on the public payroll, as the White House press secretary and zero journalists questioned its ethics.

How long will it be before we hear that Karine Jean-Pierre has her own cable news show? A year old?
