In an interview with Joy Prime’s Roslyn Felly on Prime Morning MzVee said the experience taught her that nothing in life is easy and everything is hard if you want to succeed.
He lost interest in the course, but it was too late to make any changes, so he tried his best to graduate.
“I chose home economics because I was lazy. I didn’t want to learn. I understand that this is actually one of the hardest things to do. Because practical will consume most of your time and you won’t be able to read your book.
“It was tough, and that’s where I learned my first lesson: Nothing in life is easy. Everything is hard. So far you want to succeed in it, it’s hard. she said.
Talking about how she found herself making music, MzVee was influenced by a colleague in high school to join a girl band called D3 in 2012, which became the base of her music career.
Although she never planned to pursue a career in music, she said Richie Mensah fell in love with her voice after going into the studio with her colleague Samira Buari.
“That was shocking because I didn’t plan to do music. I literally stamped on this blessing. I didn’t send myself to see any producers. MzVee explained.
Vera Hamenoo-Kpeda, better known by her stage name MzVee, is a Ghanaian singer, Afropop, dancehall and R&B artist. Her debut solo album contained several hit singles including ‘Borkar Borkor’, ‘Natural Girl’ and ‘Dancehall Queen’.
