Kaireh was born in Ghana and was only two years old when his parents (Ghanaian father and German mother) moved to Germany.
However, he still has a strong connection to his roots and didn’t think twice about playing for the country of his birth when the opportunity arose.
In an exclusive interview with Pulse.com.gh, Kaireh revealed that she is loved whenever she is in Ghana.
According to him, the love and support he gets from Ghanaians is something he has never experienced in his life.
“It was always my dream to play for Ghana and become a national player. But since I have achieved this dream, I think it is more than I expected because I have never felt this kind of love from my people and country before. He told Pulse.com.gh.
“I am very grateful to experience this in my life and it is an honor to represent Ghana wherever I go. I look forward to achieving as much as possible with Ghana and my country.
“And I appreciate the support of every Ghanaian. I see all the support on social media and the love I get when I’m in Ghana and even when I’m not there, I’m grateful and I love you all.
Kaireh has massively elevated his career in the last 12 months after playing for Ghana at the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) and the World Cup in Qatar.
The 26-year-old made the big move to Freiburg from St. Pauli last summer and has already scored two goals for the Bundesliga side this season.
