Sergeant Owusu Asante Bafi, along with his wife Ya Achia and their three-month-old baby lost their lives on Sunday night, January 15, 2023 in a fire that leveled their two-storey apartment.
Before the sad incident, the officer was with the Anti-Robbery Unit of the Ashanti Regional Police Command.
Neighbors who narrated the tragic incident to 3news.com said they tried their best to save the victims but their efforts were not enough.
Police and fire brigade personnel visited the spot and started investigation and the bodies of the deceased have been kept at the mortuary of Living Waters Hospital.
