The Biden administration is a disgrace.
US service members fired for refusing to comply with the Pentagon’s oppressive COVID vaccine order are now demanding back their signing bonuses.
One service member said he got a $7,000 sign-up bonus for six years — more than $4,000 of which he was asked to pay back.
He said he was able to pay off the debt by selling unused vacation days. According to service members, many do not have similar recourse to pay what they owe.

US service members fired for refusing to comply with the Pentagon’s COVID-19 vaccine order are now demanding back their original enlistment bonuses, years after they dedicated their lives to what Fox News Digital calls a “kick in the face.” To protect the country.
A former Army soldier who was fired last May for refusing to get a COVID-19 vaccine told Fox News Digital that he will have to return his original signing bonus after being discharged from the military because he didn’t fulfill a commitment in his contract.
The soldier had signed a contract with the Army for six years and received a $7,000 bonus. However, since he was short of six years, the military instructed him to pay the government a little more than $4,000. To repay it, they had to “sell” 60 of their unused vacation days to cover the amount owed.
He said the effects on his mental health were extremely negative because the way he was treated by the military was “the ultimate kick in the face”.
Another service member called it “yet another example” of the Defense Department failing to make up for its mistakes.
If this continues, “recruitment and retention deficits will only continue,” he said.
American Wire News reported:
“The Department of Defense is falling short of restoring trust for mistakes, and this is another example,” another service member told Fox News Digital in an interview. He said the refund of signing bonuses was “icing on the cake” of the Pentagon’s deplorable treatment of military members.
There is a lot of anger and resentment out there and with this kind of treatment by the military, it will only get worse.
“The appalling treatment these individuals suffered broke the trust we owe to our citizens and our volunteers. America’s sons and daughters,” the military member lashed out in a statement.
“Until real efforts are made to restore trust, recruitment and retention deficits will only continue. Individuals who make public statements that they are not sure what is causing the current recruitment and retention deficits need to look in the mirror and maybe they should resign for the betterment of our nation,” he said.
A slap in the face to the brave men and women who serve our country.
