If you weren’t up to speed enough, you might have missed the fact that Republican Rep. Dan Crenshaw is having a complete meltdown over the fact that there are some conservative tenants who refuse to vote for Kevin McCarthy for Speaker of the House.
This culminated in calling the opposition group “terrorists” and “clowns” and dropping the occasional F-bomb known in most faux-resistance circles as a means of enhancing your street cred.
A Twitter account known as ‘Mostly Peaceful Memes’ (it’s hilarious, you should check it out) decided to rub some of Crenshaw’s emotional response to the proceedings, producing an absolutely hilarious piece of art.
It features a man crying in a high-pitched voice with the caption, “When Dan Crenshaw can’t spend my money for 2 days.”
Pouring a little more salt into the wounds, the man behind the ‘Almost Peaceful Memes’ adds, “Please keep him in your prayers during this trying time.”

A hilarious meme calls out Dan Crenshaw
The video clip is actually a so-called reality TV show InterventionIn it, late boxing champion Rocky Lockridge has an emotional breakdown after his son professes his love for him.

Lockridge had a drug addiction that caused him great financial stress and eventually left him homeless.
Unfortunately, as is often the case on social media, the out-of-context clip dubbed the “best shout” became a viral meme for years.
And ‘Mostly Peaceful Memes’ makes great use of it here. Referring to the fact that the work of the House has come to a standstill as they have so far held fruitless votes on who should be the next Speaker.
And in the minds of critics, it’s a few days (at least) of not spending extra taxpayer money on “infrastructure” or laundering it to Ukraine.

Crenshaw calls McCarthy’s critics ‘terrorists’
The hilarious clip mocking Dan Crenshaw was in response to the Texas Republican talking about speaker votes to Fox News anchor Neil Cavuto.
“If you always set this precedent that just 20 people can destroy a conference of over 200, then you’re setting a terrible precedent,” he said.
It is, at least, a more measured tone than he had taken in his previous commentary on the subject.
“We will not let the terrorists win. That’s basically what’s happening,” he said during a radio broadcast.

He later doubled down, angrily denouncing the 20 or so dissenting McCarthy votes as “these fucking people” and declaring that “they’re just clowns.”
As documented by The Political Insider, Dan Crenshaw has a bit of an anger management problem when it comes to comedians, random people on Twitter, and maybe next, meme makers.

In reality, Republicans already helped pass a $1.7 trillion spending bill in December that would take power of the purse to the new GOP-controlled House through September 2023.
So, our money will still be spent regardless.
Nine Republicans in the House voted for the omnibus bill, though Crenshaw was not one of them.
However, Texas lawmakers have repeatedly called for continued spending in Ukraine.
Yes, because investing in destroying our adversary’s army, without losing a single American army, strikes me as good. You should feel the same way.

The “great cry” meme might be more accurately applied to taxpayers watching their money drain from a wide-open spigot to Ukraine while suffering from inflation and undervalued paychecks under the current administration.
