    V/R: Shops caught fire at Hoho lorry stand, goods destroyed

    In the Volta Region on Sunday morning, January 15, 2023, some shops at the Hoho lorry station caught fire, destroying goods worth thousands of cedis.

    According to reports, the fire started early in the morning near the Hoho market, razing several shops, the cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.

    An eyewitness identified as Kwami who described the incident said that more than 20 shops were gutted.

    On the call, fire brigade personnel from Kpando Division arrived to rescue the situation.

    No casualties have been reported yet.
