A name to watch in the Men’s Open division, Crizo’s main upgrades come from some time off training.
When Michal “Krizo” Kryzanek became a member of the International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness (IFBB) Pro League in the fall of 2022, he was still a relative unknown on the major bodybuilding scene. A pro-competitor has that ambiguity in 2022 Mr. The competition was his debut on the Olympia stage and served as a means of showcasing his unique mass and physique. In the end, the 12th place result was a solid debut, but the athlete doesn’t seem satisfied.
On January 10, 2023, Krijo posted a video to his YouTube channel where he dives into some of his plans for the 2023 calendar year. One of the more remarkable revelations Athlete skips 2023 Arnold Classic in Columbus, OH, this March with an interest in refining a perceived gap in his overall training.
This November 2023 Mr. As a competitor without an automatic berth at the Olympia, Crizo will have to earn his keep by winning an IFBB Pro League show following the organization’s changes to its qualification system. Before that happens, he asserts that his body needs proper rest to build up to his early Olympia performance.
It’s the conditioning factor that will be a problem for competitors in the 2022 Whirlwind.
“I have to choose [my next IFBB Pro League show] Smart,” Crijo said. “I wasn’t happy with my conditioning  Olympia because I know I can come in more conditioned than that. I was already very tired.”
Crizo did not provide further details on when he will compete again after turning down his Arnold Classic invitation. He offered a few options, perhaps an Arnold Classic UK competition, to be held in September 2023 during the recently renamed Experience with Sports Festival UK (formerly Arnold Sports Festival UK). He also speculated on what’s next in his bodybuilding journey.
“I don’t know yet,” Crizo said of his plans. “I want to do the Arnold Classic UK. I definitely will.”  EVLS Prague Pro, but this time it’s after Olympia, two weeks later. [The Arnold Classic UK] Usually in September. The  Olympia will be in November, I think. That’s it [Arnold Classic UK] Should be at the end of September. I have to choose at least two to three shows. There is no guarantee that I will win the first one.
With Hadi Choopan now the reigning Mr. Olympia, any number of contestants will set their sights on toppling the first-time winner. Crizo has chosen his path towards such an ideal personal outcome and only time will tell if the strategy will be successful.
