John Fetterman was admitted to the hospital for depression, a Democrat talking point that clearly came out.
The spin put on the situation is that Fetterman was ‘courageous’ to admit his problem and seek help by checking himself into hospital for it.
Does anyone believe that Democrats and the media would say this if Fetterman were a Republican? No. He is demanding that he resign because he cannot work.
From FOX News:
Biden praises Fetterman’s ‘courageous and important’ example of seeking medical care; Hospital stays can last for weeks
After checking himself into a Washington, DC, hospital this week for treatment for clinical depression, Sen. President Biden endorsed John Fetterman, D-Pa., on Friday.
“John, Gisele – Jill and I are thinking of your family today,” Biden wrote in a tweet. “Millions of people struggle with depression every day, often in private. Getting the care you need is courageous and important.
“We are grateful to you for example,” the president added.
Reports later Friday indicated that Fetterman could be in the hospital for several weeks as he receives treatment.
Biden used the word ‘courageous’ in his tweet.

The word ‘courage’ appears everywhere.
“It’s true: It’s brave to tell your story. It’s brave to ask for help,” he writes @lauraftrujillo. https://t.co/6FdVsucDVk

I think we can all agree, regardless of political affiliation, that this is a brave move in breaking the stigma.
Many can breathe a little easier knowing they are not alone.
Prayers for the Fetterman family. ππ» https://t.co/YJXg28UHCe

It takes courage to ask for help. I wish it wasn’t so. Until then, we share our stories. https://t.co/B1hpfxb2la

A bold decision by Fetterman. One that saves lives. And a historic one in the ongoing quest to reduce the stigma of mental health. Mental health is key to overall health. A message we’ve been working to communicate for decades, especially to the military and vets community. https://t.co/gb5l20BTDJ

What Fetterman is doing is brave and actually makes him a good representative of his constituents. We elected officials must have diverse, lived experience that reflects issues and support networks. https://t.co/2uuxGionx5

Breaking: Sen. John Fetterman checks himself into Walter Reed Medical Center to seek treatment for clinical depression, which he has suffered throughout his life but has “become severe in recent weeks.” RT if you think Fetterman has the guts to discuss mental health!

We should treat mental illness the same way we treat physical illness.
When Fetterman breaks his leg and needs to be hospitalized, no one says a word.
Please don’t make assumptions about their fitness to serve because they are doing the courageous work of seeking help for depression.

Isn’t it a bit strange that they are all using the same word to spin this situation?
