Description Warehouse Manager Supervise the activities of workers engaged in receiving, storing, testing, and shipping products or materials. Interview, select, and train warehouse and supervisory personnel. Plan, develop, or implement warehouse safety and security programs and activities. Prepare or direct the preparation of correspondence, reports, and operations, maintenance, and safety manuals. Issue shipping instructions and provide routing information to coordinate delivery times and locations. Confer with department heads to coordinate warehouse activities, such as production, sales, records control, or purchasing. Provide material status reports at weekly production meetings. Review invoices, work orders, consumption reports, or demand forecasts to estimate peak delivery periods and issue work assignments. Process purchase orders as needed from the warehouse. Handle company uniform and recycling. Inspect physical conditions of warehouses, vehicle fleets, or equipment and order testing, maintenance, repairs, or replacements. Schedule or monitor air or surface pickup, delivery, or distribution of products or materials. Handle return of materials as needed. Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Strong leadership skills. Ability to interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manual. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to calculate figures such as freight costs and percentages. Ability to manage schedules, prioritize, and multi-task. Ability to create routine reports. Proficient with Excel.
