As an Upholstery Technician, you will be responsible for learning and performing frame assembly and upholstery for furniture products for the hospitality and retail industries, as well as learning how to create highly engineered subcomponents built of foam for aerospace upholstery products. Individuals in this position are comfortable using hand tools, able to read and comprehend production notes, and able to follow directions to maintain our high-quality standards. •Operate within a team atmosphere to complete a product.
•Utilize different types of saws - band saw, table saw, panel saw.
•Utilize different types of pneumatic fasteners to assemble finished frames- staple guns, spring clip guns.
•Stand for the duration of a 10-hour shift.
•Able to lift 50 lbs frequently.
•Adhere materials to finished frames, such as textile and foam.
•Inspect final product for defects prior to shipment.
•Learn and do continuous improvement activities.

- Starting Wage of $17.25 per hour with a clear path for wage growth
- Paid Time Off (PTO)
- Under 12 months: 1 hour PTO for every 30 worked
- After 1 Year: 70 hours PTO
- After 3 Years: 110 hours PTO
- After 5 Years: 120 hours + 30 hours paid Holiday during Christmas week
- Holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas are paid for 10 hours after 1 month of employment
