Under the supervision of the Staff Services Manager I over the Classification and Pay (C&P)/Exams Unit within the Human Resources Branch (HRB), the Staff Services Analyst will work as part of a small team, focusing primarily on Classification and Pay related duties, but with the opportunity to work on a broad variety of programs and projects, such as: special projects for control agencies, CalEPA leadership, and DPR executive management; developing and presenting trainings and presentations on HR-related topics; assisting the Department in accomplishing its diversity, inclusion, and racial equity objectives from the HR-perspective; extensive research and creative problem-solving; process improvement; and fostering an environment of genuine and authentic communication, teamwork, and trust within the unit, the branch, and the Department.
