SmartTalent Staffing is looking to hire Sewing Machine Operators for a textile company in Auburn, WA. Ideal candidate will be motivated to work full time and have at least 1 year sewing experience (details below).
PAY: $20

SCHEDULE: Monday – Friday, 7:30am-4pm OR 4pm-12:30am

ABOUT THE JOB:
The client is looking for decisive and attentive sewing machine operators to work on production lines to close pillows. This position will also need to be flexible in working other positions within the production line as needed.
JOB DUTIES:
• Deciding on appropriate sewing techniques before work commences.
• Operating the foot pedal, plus the stitch length and width regulators, as you sew.
• Replacing the sewing machine’s needle, as required.
• Detecting and repairing basic faults with the sewing machine as they occur.
• Scheduling repairs for the sewing machine and its fittings, as needed.
• Other duties assigned by supervisor
REQUIREMENTS:
· Good attendance is an absolute must!
· Physically able to lift up to 35lbs when needed
· Demonstrates experience as a sewing machine operator
· Working knowledge of sewing machine mechanics
· Outstanding eyesight or utilization of corrective measures.
· Innovative, thoughtful, and attention to detail.
· Top-notch interpersonal skills
· Have good time management skills to complete tasks within a deadline
