Job Description
GameStop is looking for a Senior Mobile Application Engineer. This role will collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, and business partners distributed across the U.S. In this role, you will help design, build, and maintain a new, highly scalable application that will delight millions of GameStop customers. The ideal candidate will be customer-obsessed, highly collaborative, and passionate about creating customer experiences that are both frictionless and delightful.
This position will sit on-site in Grapevine, TX 5 days per week.
What will I do?
Deliver highly scalable customer-facing products and features, used by millions of GameStop customers.
Participate in and provide input to technical decisions. Refine our app frameworks, processes, and standards.
Write scalable, performant, readable, and tested code. Monitor, track, and optimize performance on an ongoing basis.
Provide mentorship and guidance to peers and more junior engineers.
Use data to provide input to prioritization decisions.
Thrive in an ambiguous environment, be resourceful, and make tradeoffs to deliver customer impact.
Exhibit a bias for action, constantly looking for ways to improve the customer experience.
Establish strong working relationships across all levels and functions of the organization.
Ensure all deadlines are met and other responsibilities as assigned.

Who You Are...
Deep technical expertise working on consumer facing mobile applications at scale.
Demonstrated organizational-wide impacting experience building both iOS and Android consumer facing applications at scale.
3+ years experience with React Native development
5+ years in overall software engineering design and development experience.
5+ years in design and development of Ecommerce or Marketplace Applications.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile development environment.
Bonus points if you've developed auction software at scale in the past.
