Position Summary As a
Senior Front-End Engineer , you will play a key role in building and leading the development of the user interface for our new digital platform. This platform is designed to enhance the homeowner experience by providing proactive support, smart home capabilities, and easy access to services and information. You'll be part of an Agile Scrum team, directly contributing to the creation and maintenance of products that support our business operations. You'll participate in sprint activities such as planning, grooming, and daily standups to deliver on commitments, continuously improve processes, and drive positive change.
You'll apply your expertise in front-end development and React/React Native technologies to help the team produce high-quality, on-time deliverables. With an eye for design and attention to detail, you'll help us build intuitive, responsive, and user-friendly applications backed by thorough testing and best practices.
Additionally, you'll work directly with Team Leads, Business Users, Product Owners, Functional Analysts, and other Engineers to build new projects and support existing applications.

You'll collaborate closely with colleagues in Product Management, UX/UI Design, Marketing, and other departments to create a platform that truly benefits our users, enhances customer satisfaction, and builds brand loyalty.
Primary Responsibilities - Lead the development of front-end applications using React and React Native for our new digital platform.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement responsive and intuitive user interfaces.
- Turn design mockups and functional requirements into high-quality code.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Work closely with backend developers to integrate APIs and services.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
- Participate in the full SDLC from requirements gathering to testing and delivery.
- Mentor junior developers and foster a collaborative team environment.
Primary Qualifications - 7+ years of experience in front-end development.
- Extensive experience with React and React Native.
- Experience with Redux or other state management libraries.
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
- Understanding of modern front-end build pipelines and tools.
- Experience with mobile app development and responsive design.
Desired Skills - Excellent analytical skills; able to weigh pros and cons of design choices and make suggestions to Management, Product Owners, and Team Members.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing processes and technologies.
- Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest and React Testing Library.
- Knowledge of TypeScript.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and project tracking software like Jira.
- Understanding of UX principles and ability to collaborate with designers.
