Job Description

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalency.
• Must demonstrate the ability to construct and write clear, concise, accurate, and detailed reports.
• Must maintain poise and self-control under stress.
• Must have all licenses required by the State of Florida to work as an Unarmed Security Guard.
• Must be physically able to perform all general duties, functions, and activities as described in the Statement of Work.

• Meet and interact with the public in a manner that promotes a positive image of the VA.
• Patrol the cemetery by vehicle and by foot to inspect the exterior of all buildings and fencing to ensure no forced entry or vandalism.
• Scan specified locations on an hourly basis.
• Obtain professional assistance if needed in case of injury or illness on VA grounds.
• Observe suspicious personnel or those behaving inappropriately.
• The applicant shall be available for direct communication with the COR and Security Guard(s) on duty during their entire shift.
