Title: Senior Accountant - Accounts Payable

Job Types: Contract

Location: Bethlehem, PA (100% Remote but candidate should be local to the area)

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Prepare Accounts Payable related general ledger and clearing account reconciliations

• Perform Ad hoc analysis and other payment information request

• Prepare monthly reoccurring payment reconciliation.

• Prepare and record journal entries for posting to the general ledger

• Prepare month end vendor summary billing journal entrie

• Download payment files from vendor portal and upload to HEFM for payment processing

• Prepare month end accrued receipts and undistributed voucher downloads for journal entry posing

• Assist in maintaining the general ledger in the Wells Fargo credit card data base

• Audit vendor statements; identify and collect on outstanding credits and refunds

• Coach staff on correct invoice processing procedures

• Responsible for the Berkone exception queue

• Work with legal services to assure compliance for contractual payments

• Analyze/investigate payment card reconciliation variances for resolution

• Assist with 1099 year-end reporting or other W-9 regulatory reporting

• Maintains confidentiality of all materials handled within the Network/ Entity as well as the proper release of information.

• Complies with Network and departmental policies regarding issues of employee, patient and environmental safety and follows appropriate reporting requirements.

• Demonstrates/models the Network’s Service Excellence Standards of Performance in interactions with all customers (internal and external).

• Demonstrates Performance Improvement in the following areas as appropriate: Clinical Care/Outcomes, Customer/Service Improvement, Operational System/Process, and Safety

• Demonstrates financial responsibility and accountability through the effective and efficient use of resources in daily procedures, processes and practices.

• Complies with Network and departmental policies regarding attendance and dress code.

MOST COMPLEX DUTY:

Prepares general ledger account reconciliations and rent payment reconciliation

Pay Details: $40.00 to $45.00 per hour
