\n \n\n \nThe role you’ll contribute: Clinical Trainer/LPN
\n \n\n \nYou must be an LPN with an active FL license.
\n \n\n \nThe Clinical Trainer – LPN under limited supervision, provides appropriate training to identified clinical staff (both new and existing) who are needing additional education. This position helps with clinical orientation and competency assessment in conjunction with work performed by the Clinical Excellence Team. Serves as a lead medical LPN by epitomizing best practices in the examination of patients and assisting providers. Assists in patient education as needed. As a recognized trainer, may cover more than 1 practice through travel.
\n \n\n \nPrincipal Job Duties and Responsibilities :
\n \n\n \n· Serves as the trainer and effective mentor and educational resource to clinical staff with emphasis on training new employees and employees identified as needing more training. Serves as an additional resource, when needed, in regard to billing or coding issues at the practice.
\n \n\n \n· Must maintain education requirements for position and demonstrate competency, as required
\n \n\n \n· Demonstrate understanding of adult learning principles
\n \n\n \n· Is responsible for maintaining OSHA regulatory enforcement and other office compliance,
\n \n\n \n· Follows safety processes and policies to ensure appropriate care is given
\n \n\n \n· Ensures efficient office flow by preparing patient and equipment for the needed treatment and initiates testing and documents results into the practice’s designated system when appropriate.
\n \n\n \n· Clinical competencies must be passed 2 x per year
\n \n\n \nQualifications
\n \nThe expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed :
\n \n\n \nEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
\n \n\n \n· High school graduate or equivalent
\n \n\n \n· Two (2) years of LPN experience.
\n \n\n \n· Current, valid BLS certification
\n \n\n \n· Current, valid LPN license in state of Florida
\n \n\n \n· EMR Superuser
\n \n\n \n· Must be familiar with PCMH standards
\n \n\n \n· Must be familiar with Quality metrics
\n \n\n \n· Knowledge of health care field and medical terminology
\n \n\n \n· Knowledge of chronic disease management
\n \n\n \n· Knowledge of and ability to utilize internal and external resources
\n \n\n \n· Expertise in patient advocacy and navigating complex systems
\n \n\n \nEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
\n \n\n \n· Some education past high school.
\n \n\n \n· Formal education, training or precepting experience
