Logistics Inventory Manager
Pay Rate:
Location: Alpharetta, GA - hybrid 3 days a week onsite
Duration: 12 Month+ Contract
Absolute must haves:
Must have financial services background or vendor background from companies such as World Wide Technology, SHI International Corp, Cisco, etc. Any resumes that do not have these types of companies or financial experience will be rejected.
Needs to come from an IT Asset Management background. Inventory manager with a network hardware background is preferred.
Inventory logistics
Inbound & outbound network logistics experience
Need to confirm forms, purchase orders, build out of materials.
Logistics coordination for data centers, warehouses, office locations etc.
Can work on tight timelines and handle more than one project at a time.
Experience with ServiceNow, Ariba a plus
About the Position
Seeking a Logistics Inventory Manager within the Enterprise Network Services team. This role reports to the Vice President of our project management office and service delivery function for network services. The role will be responsible for the daily inbound operations, inventory control and functional analysis of infrastructure equipment purchased for the network services team. The Logistics Inventory Manager will be responsible for the inventory across multiple warehouse and data center locations (20). Also responsible for 3rd party warehouse and integrations facilities (4). The role will ensure integrity of real time inventory data. Points of contact will be certain vendor portals and various public/private databases.

Specific Role Function:
- Responsible for inbound logistics, inventory control and inventory analysis
- Proper documentation of inventory, accurate status, identification and research, and correction of errors within systems and reports, as well as identification of discrepancies within vendor hosted systems
- Oversee the successful execution and proper system updates of all inventory transactions both internally and traded with 3rd party vendors
- Assigns and directs workflow of inventory to ensure excellent client service is delivered to each customer through appropriate planning and scheduling
- Develop business insights based on inventory analysis and communicated key findings to member of management
- Perform analysis of inventory, including calculations, trends and measurements. Make recommendations for inventory corrections.
- Work with senior leadership to develop metrics, reporting output and inventory analysis
- Reconcile inventory and stock levels (spares) and identify shortages that accurate stock is adequate (i.e. Optics and power supplies)
- Liaise with vendors and MS counterparts on hardware delivery statuses.
Skills:
- Strong communication (verbal and written) and organizational skills - able to handle conflict situations, resolve issues and ability to multi-task
- Strong analytical, problem solving and business process skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint presentations and updating Word documents)
- Advanced experience with Excel (formulas, functions, and pivot tables)
- Experience with Service Now and JIRA tools
- Understanding of Agile and Kanban methodologies
- Solid Sharepoint experience required
Requirements:
- Minimum of 7+ years in an inventory control role within Supply Chain Experience in IT/Technology sector and/or Technology Hardware Manufacturer or reseller
- Bachelor's degree in business, Information Technology, or related field
