The Opportunity
We're seeking an experienced and driven Lateral Associate - Litigation to join a premier litigation team in Dallas, TX. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of cutting-edge cases across various litigation sectors. Your expertise and commitment will contribute to achieving outstanding results for clients while advancing your career.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct legal research and draft motions, briefs, and other litigation-related documents.
  • Participate in all aspects of discovery, including depositions and document review.
  • Manage cases and client communications effectively.
  • Contribute to hearings, trials, and appellate proceedings when needed.
  • Engage in cross-functional litigation practices, including oil and gas, energy, fiduciary litigation, employment, privacy, antitrust, and securities.

What You Bring to the Table

  • Experience: Law school graduate from 2017-2019 with prior exposure to state and federal litigation practices.
  • Education: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
  • Skills: Proficiency in legal research, drafting, case management, and litigation strategies.
  • Additional Qualifications: District or appellate court clerkship experience is preferred but not required. Deposition, hearing, and trial experience is a plus.

Your Skillset

  • Strong knowledge of state and federal litigation practices.
  • Analytical and strategic thinking for case preparation and management.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills for client and court interactions.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
