Job Summary: Mindhop is looking for a Junior React and Node.js Developer to join our innovative development team. In this role, you will focus on building scalable and responsive applications with a seamless front-end in React and a solid back-end powered by Node.js. This is an exciting opportunity to grow your technical skills, gain exposure to full-stack development, and contribute directly to impactful transportation projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain dynamic front-end applications using React, creating reusable components and ensuring responsive design across devices.
Assist with back-end development using Node.js, implementing RESTful APIs, and handling data integration with front-end applications.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless data flows and consistent user experiences between the front end and back end.
Troubleshoot, debug and optimize performance on both the client and server sides.
Participate actively in code reviews, technical discussions, and team meetings.
Document and maintain code, ensuring readability and scalability.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Proficiency in JavaScript fundamentals and basic experience with React and Node.js.
Understanding of RESTful API principles and experience with JSON data structures.
Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.
Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles.
Strong problem-solving skills, eagerness to learn, and a collaborative team spirit.
Excellent communication skills for clear and concise technical collaboration.

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with Express.js or similar Node.js frameworks.
Understanding of asynchronous programming and handling API calls in React.
Knowledge of database systems (e.g., MongoDB, PostgreSQL) is a plus
