Monday Friday 8:00 am 5:00 pm, or as needed

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

An Interior Designer with AOA will generate architectural concepts for interior projects, including material, such as furniture and equipment planning, special design concepts and requirements, and floor plan analysis. Responsible for carrying out these design assignments requiring the development of new or improved techniques or designs. Liaises with the project manager, architects, and consultants. Develops and represents lead technical viewpoint on projects. Coordinates with the director and department head on appropriate technical solutions and product strategies.

RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS

· Responsible for work in schematic design, design development, construction documents, and construction administration. Full project delivery of Interiors

· Collaborate and coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors

· Software Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD

· Responsible for fostering relationships for potential work and promoting AOA culture

· Thorough knowledge of accessibility standards, knowledge of Florida Building Code sections related to interiors

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

· Bachelor's degree in Interior Design

· Professional Certification or Registration Preferred
