The pay range per hour is $23.00 - $39.10.
Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position. These include labor markets and may include education, work experience, and certifications. ALL ABOUT GENERAL MERCHANDISE
Experts of operations, process, and efficiency who enable a consistent experience for our guests by ensuring product is set, in stock, accurately priced, and signed on the sales floor. The General Merchandise and Food Sales team leads inbound, outbound, replenishment, inventory accuracy, presentation, pricing, and promotional signing processes for all General Merchandise (GM) areas of the store. This team leads Food & Beverage and Food Service, providing a fresh and food-safe experience.
As an Inbound Operations Team Leader, you will gain skills and experience in:
Guest service fundamentals and experience building a guest-first culture on your team.
Retail business fundamentals including department sales trends, inventory management, guest shopping patterns, pricing, and promotions strategies.
Planning department(s) daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver sales goals.
Process improvements and workload efficiency.
Helping build a team of hourly team members.
Typical responsibilities include:
Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience.
Understand sales goals, plan and execute daily/weekly workload to deliver on department and store sales goals.
Be an expert of operations, accuracy, and efficiency.
Utilize your workload planning tools to complete all scheduled workload ensuring areas are guest ready at store open.
Help create a scheduling plan based on monthly and weekly business workload and guest traffic.
Work a schedule that aligns to guest and business needs (may include early morning, evening, overnight shifts, and weekends).
Assess all GM backroom and sales floor areas and review reporting to identify gaps and develop a plan to resolve.
Enable a consistent experience for our guests by ensuring product is in stock and available.
Assist in leading organizational and operational change.
Evaluate candidates for open positions and develop a guest-centric team.
Establish clear goals and expectations and hold team members accountable.
Lead team onboarding and learning.
Coach team members to ensure accuracy and efficiency in all inbound processes.
Close knowledge and skill gaps of team members through training and experiences.
Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Lead a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance.
Support safety advocacy culture by identifying and correcting hazards.
Address store needs (emergency, regulatory visits, etc.).
Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick up (OPU), and Drive up (DU).
All other duties based on business needs.

High school degree or equivalent.
Age 18 or older.
Previous retail experience preferred, but not required.

Interpret instructions, reports, and information.
Accurately handle cash register operations as needed.

Flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends, and holidays).
Capable of working in varying temperatures and humidity.
Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift.
