Salary: $35 - $55 DOE

HVAC Installer

Paradigm Mechanical Corp. is currently looking for an experienced HVAC sheet metal journeyman to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity with a growing company working on commercial and government projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Study plans and specifications to determine the kind and quantity of materials needed.
• Develop and lay out patterns that use materials most efficiently.
• Measure, design, fabricate, and install ducts for heating and air conditioning.
• Measure and mark dimensions and reference lines on metal sheets.
• Assemble and install commercial HVAC systems including sheet metal ductwork, air handling units or air terminal units per plans and specs.
• Assist with setting rooftop and/or condensing units, crane rigging and signaling.
• Set air handlers, boilers, furnaces and other commercial HVAC equipment.

Requirements:

• 5 years minimum Commercial HVAC experience required.

• Own basic tools

• Able to lift 55 pounds repetitively.

• Professional, organized, open to training, continuing education, etc.

• Able to follow written procedures, work instructions, and directions provided by management.

• Must have clean DMV driving record and a valid California Driver’s License.
• Must be able to pass background and drug screen.
• Must be willing to travel throughout Southern California.
