Pay Range:
FOH- $16.00 +TIPS
HOST- $17.50 + TIPS
Experience: At least 1 year of server/runner experience.
Offering Part-time, must have minimum of 20 hours.

FOH Roles and Responsibilities:
- Inform guests of specials and menu changes.
- Make recommendations you genuinely feel your guests will enjoy.
- Answer questions about our food, beverages and other restaurant functions and services.
- Deliver food and beverages from kitchen to guests in a timely manner.
- Perform side work at the start and end of each shift as required by service station assignments.
- Maintain clean service areas.
- Monitor and observe guests’ dining experience. Ensure guests are satisfied with the food and service. Respond promptly and courteously to any requests.
- Prepare the final bill, present a check to the guests, accept payment, process credit card charges or make change (if applicable).
- Be ready and willing to assist fellow servers as situations arise.
- Be ready and willing to assist bussers with clearing and resetting tables.
- Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the restaurant's smooth and efficient operation as directed by the MOD.
- Attending all scheduled employee meetings and bringing suggestions for improvement.
- Answer incoming calls to the restaurant and provide appropriate service.
- Help dining room staff by setting and clearing tables; replenishing water; serving beverages.
- Obtain service area assignment at the beginning of each shift.
- Promptly greet guests as they are seated and bring water.
- Remove used tableware between courses and provide tableware for the next course.
- Clear tables after guests. Take tableware to the dish room and place silverware, dishes, glassware, etc in appropriate areas for washing.
- Between seating, promptly clean table stops, chairs and booths. Check the floor and clean as required. Reset and arrange tabletop.
- Respond appropriately to guest's requests.
- Assist in receiving and packaging takeout orders.
- Control expo station by organizing tickets and keep the area sanitized and clean.
- Assist with any additional tasks that are asked to be performed such as but not limited to, helping with food preparation when necessary.
Host Roles and Responsibilities:
- Greet incoming and departing guests warmly with a genuine smile and eye contact; escort them to assigned dining area; present menus; announce waiter’s name
- Use visual cues to seat guests in either the bar, dining area or patio area depending on their preference
- Inform guests of current promotion and who will be serving them to ensure a smooth handoff to the service staff
- Answer incoming calls to the restaurant and provide appropriate service
- Manage the flow of guests into the dining, patio, and bar areas, provide accurate wait times to incoming guests if appropriate
- Prioritize guests who called and reserved tables in advance.
- Observant to guests’ needs throughout the dining experience to ensure they receive high quality service (i.e. notice a drink refill is needed while seating another guest and ensuring the drink is refilled prior to getting back to the door).
- Protect establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety and alcohol control policies.
- Help dining room staff by setting and clearing tables; replenishing water; serving beverages.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Assist with any additional tasks that are asked to be performed such as but not limited to, helping with food preparation when necessary.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 6 months of experience in a similar role in a fast-paced food service environment.
- Achievement of obtaining a Food Handler Card, as provided by the company
- Committed to collaborating effectively within a team.
- Basic understanding of kitchen equipment and utensils.
- Good communication skills and collaborate with team members to provide excellent customer service
- Capable of performing well under pressure and in a fast-paced setting.
- Skilled in teamwork and communication.
- Able to work efficiently both independently and in a team.
- Initiative-driven team player comfortable with taking the lead when necessary.
- Customer service-focused mindset.
- Proficiency in basic math and handling various forms of payment, including cash and credit cards.
- Flexible schedule, including availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Physical Demands:
- Able to reach, bend, and stoop.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
