ENCHANTED FOREST WATER SAFARI Scope:Food Service team members work in a variety of food stands assisting guests with their food, beverage and snack purchases. Team members are responsible for the preparation of quality food products and their attractive presentation. Positions include: cook, food preparation, cashier, catered picnics, & bartending. Team members must consistently deliver exceptional guest service. Essential Duties:Maintain and project a positive attitude and professional demeanorFollow instructions & recipes exactly to produce consistent food productsHandle guest sales in a prompt, friendly, courteous manner, using suggestive selling techniquesQuickly and accurately take in large amounts of cash, operate a cash register and make change by following EFWS cash handling policies and proceduresOccasional lifting and carrying of up to 35 poundsBe familiar with items sold and services offered by EFWSMaintain the cleanliness of the shops and surrounding work areas by following proper sanitation proceduresWork well independently and as a part of a teamUnderstand and clearly communicate with our guestsPerform work safely in accordance with departmental safety proceduresGreet guests, & team members in a professional and friendly manner, answer questions, provide direction and assist in resolving concernsFood service team members over the age of 18 could be scheduled to work in one of our barsMust be 14 years of age or older (Most food service positions require that you are 16 years of age or older per NYS law, you must be 18 years or older to work as a bartender)Exhibit a friendly, cooperative and professional demeanorMust be well groomed and willing to comply with uniform guidelinesAbility to work in groups in a fast-paced environmentMust be willing to be on your feet for your entire shiftMust be comfortable with cash handlingMust be honest, reliable and trustworthyAbility to interact professionally with a diverse group of people Qualifications and Experience RequiredMust be 16 years of age or older (Most food service positions require that you are 16 years of age or older per NYS law, you must be 18 years or older to work as a bartender)Exhibit a friendly, cooperative and professional demeanorMust be well groomed and willing to comply with uniform guidelinesAbility to work in groups in a fast-paced environmentMust be willing to be on your feet for your entire shiftMust be comfortable with cash handlingMust be honest, reliable and trustworthyAbility to interact professionally with a diverse group of people
