Position: Flooring Demolition Supervisor

Location: St. George, Ut

Job Type: Full-time

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate flooring demolition projects from start to finish.
• Lead a team of demolition workers, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and project timelines.
• Organize and delegate tasks effectively to achieve efficient workflow and project completion.
• Oversee the proper removal and disposal of old flooring materials, including carpets, tiles, hardwood, and vinyl.
• Monitor equipment usage, ensuring maintenance and safety standards are met.
• Collaborate with project managers and contractors to ensure project requirements and deadlines are met.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to project specifications.
• Train and mentor demolition crew members, promoting a culture of safety, efficiency, and professionalism.
• Maintain detailed records of project progress, materials used, and labor hours.

Requirements:

• Proven experience (3+ years) in flooring demolition or related demolition fields.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
• In-depth knowledge of demolition techniques, tools, and equipment.
• Understanding of safety regulations and practices in construction.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret project specifications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Physical stamina and ability to work in various environments (e.g., confined spaces, heights).
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in demolition or related fields.
• Experience with diverse flooring materials and demolition methods.
