Responsibilities
As a Customs broker, you will have an understanding of the customer, market, and import/export requirements.
Collaboratewith supply chain partners and third-party transportation partners to determine the most effective way to fulfill the order for the customer.
As a Customs broker, you willstay updated on changes in customs regulations, trade agreements, and industry trends.
As a Customs broker, you willperformdue diligence activities associated with the screening process of Third Parties with the ability to check at the transactional level.
As a Customs broker, you will prepare, review, and process necessary customs documentation, including import/export declarations, bills of lading, and certificates of origin.
About You
Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role
Experience in customs clearance
Knowledge and experience of Descartes
Proficiency in basic home-use customs clearance procedures.
Excellent customer service aptitude.
Exceptional organisational abilities, adept at prioritisation and meeting deadlines under pressure.
Excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
