Job Details Key Responsibilities:
3D Printing Operations: Operate and maintain various 3D printing machines and technologies, including FDM, SLA, SLS, and others.
Product Assembly: Build and assemble prototypes and final products using 3D printed components. Ensure products meet design specifications and quality standards.
Design Integration: Collaborate with design engineers to understand and implement design changes or enhancements. Provide feedback on design for manufacturability.
Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues with 3D printing processes, materials, and equipment. Perform regular maintenance and calibration of printing machines.
Quality Control: Conduct rigorous testing and quality checks on printed parts to ensure they meet required tolerances and performance criteria.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of printing processes, materials used, and product modifications. Prepare reports and documentation as required.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including design, engineering, and manufacturing to ensure seamless integration of 3D printing into production workflows.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: Hands-on experience with 3D printing machines and technologies, gained through internships, projects, or academic work. Practical experience building and assembling products is essential.
Skills:
Proficiency with 3D printing technologies (FDM, SLA, SLS, etc.) and associated software.
Strong understanding of mechanical principles and materials science.
Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical problems effectively.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
