Once again, Lahlo has outdone himself.
When powerlifter Nabil Lahlo loads his barbell with an unfathomable amount of weight, he’s about to make jaws drop to the floor. An athlete’s most recent significant achievement in a sanctioned competitive setting was no different.
On July 8, 2023, during the 2023 World Raw Powerlifting Federation (WRPF) drug test at Give Me Liberty or Give Me Chaos, Lahlo was successfully locked out. 342.4-kilogram (755-pound) top raw deadlift. The mark is official Lahlo’s drug-tested world record in the 75-kilogram weight class, helping them to a first-place showing. The deadlift surpassed Taylor Atwood’s previous record by 1.9 kilograms (4.4 pounds). Atwood cleared the previous standard of 340.4 kilograms (750.6 pounds) at the 2021 USA Powerlifting (USAPL) Raw Nationals. Lahlau wore only a lifting belt for assistive equipment in his deadlift and completed it from a sumo stance with a traditional grip.
Along with his new world record pull, Lahlo also captured all-time drug-tested competition bests in his squat (252.5 kilograms/556.6 pounds), his bench press (140 kilograms/308.6 pounds), and his final total (735 kilograms/). 1,620.4 pounds).

Even though he’s still in his early 20s, Lahlo is no stranger to rewriting the record books with his drag prowess. There is no doubt that Lahlau has established herself as a young dynamo in strength sports, especially when it comes to deadlifting. The athlete is yet to announce his upcoming competitive plans but is sure to put on a show whenever he arrives.
