President Trump will return to the sh*t hole in New York City this week for AG Letitia James’ fraud case.
Letitia James announced a lawsuit against former President Donald Trump and his family in September.
AG James is investigating whether the Trump Organization inflated the values โโof some of its properties.
“Today, I am suing Donald Trump for engaging in years of financial fraud to enrich himself, his family and the Trump Organization.” Letitia James said on September 21.
Letitia James said her office is seeking:
- Make Trump pay $250 million.
- Ban Trumps from running NY businesses for good.
- Ban Trump and the Trump Org from buying commercial real estate in NY for 5 years.
- We are making a criminal referral to the US Department of Justice
“With the help of Donald Jr., Eric, Ivanka and other defendants, Trump illegally inflated and inflated his net worth by billions in order to obtain and service loans, receive insurance benefits, and pay lower taxes. In short, he lied to obtain massive financial gains for himself,” Letitia James said. said in September.
“We found that Trump, his family and the Trump Org used fraudulent and misleading asset valuations 200 times over 10 years in their annual financial statements. These statements were then used to obtain hundreds of millions of dollars in loans and insurance coverage,” he said.
Trump is expected to defend a fifth this week, the New York Post reported.
The New York Post reported:
Former President Donald Trump will return to the Big Apple this week for a second grilling by New York Attorney General Letitia James, who is investigating the Trump Organization’s business practices, law enforcement sources told The Post on Monday.
Sources at multiple agencies said Trump would either defend the fifth — or possibly refuse to answer questions to avoid impeachment — as he did when he was questioned by the AG’s office in the case last year.
James’ prosecutors, who left his home in Florida on Wednesday night, are scheduled to begin their trial in his Manhattan office on Thursday morning, sources said.
Trump’s civil attorney on Monday declined to comment to The Post on whether his client would be impeached this week.
