The venue of the match has been the subject of debate in recent weeks, but it has now been confirmed that the match will be played at the Baba Yara Stadium.
A statement from the Ghana Football Association (GFA) said the ground was closed for domestic matches to prepare for the AFCON qualifiers.
The Black Meteors are expected to face Algeria in the 2nd leg of the last round qualifier for the U-23 Africa Cup of Nations at the Baba Yara Stadium on March 28.
The Baba Yara Sports Stadium pitch will not be available for domestic matches after Ghana’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Angola. GFA said.
“The Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Ghana Football Association and the National Sports Authority came to this decision at a meeting on Wednesday.
“The decision is to give the pitch manager enough time to further improve the quality of the pitch for Ghana’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Angola.”
Meanwhile, Ghana’s new coach Chris Hughton will be unveiled ahead of the Black Stars’ game against Angola.
