Tucker Carlson vows to release ‘hidden’ footage on January 6: ‘They’re lying’

Fox News host Tucker Carlson has warned Washington that he is prepared to release some “undercover” footage of the January 6, 2021 riots at the Capitol next week.

House Speaker Kevin McCarthy gave Carlson exclusive access to 41,000 hours of Capitol surveillance footage of the riot, which has left Democrat lawmakers and media figures apoplectic in recent weeks.

“The defenders of democracy are defending democracy again,” he told his audience on Thursday night. “They’re telling you it’s really dangerous.”

Carlson explained that thousands of hours of surveillance footage from Jan. 6 have been “hidden from the public for two years,” but “a small group of people create stories about what happened that day and change the country based on those. Stories.”

Fox News host Rasmussen cited a poll indicating that 80% of voters think it’s important for the public to see previously hidden videos.

Tucker Carlson: January 6th videos coming up

With a public outcry for information, Carlson vowed that the videos would be released. And it’s coming soon.

“So you’re protecting democracy, but you’re denying people information based on which they can make their own decisions,” he said.

“How exactly does this work?” Carlson continued. “Well, it’s not a democracy, of course. It is building a bulwark against your lies being exposed. And they are lying. And we know that because we’re watching the tape.

“We’re going to bring you the tape and some of the information on it next week,” he said. “And we think it’s going to be really interesting.”

Did the feds incite the riot?

One can only guess what Tucker Carlson and his crew found in the unreleased Jan. 6 footage.

Because a highly partisan selection committee of circus clowns presumably just released a video that helped push their pre-conceived narrative that Donald Trump is the cause of the collapse of democracy to the public.

The committee’s final report focused specifically on that point, with sources discussing the matter with NBC News several weeks ago alleging that security flaws were being deliberately covered up.

The same Rasmussen poll cited by Carlson found that 61% of respondents believed that “secret government agents helped incite the Capitol riots.”

NBC News previously reported on informants who warned the FBI weeks in advance that January 6 posed a “huge” threat of violence, but were ultimately ignored.

And the FBI did nothing.

Not only did the FBI have information weeks in advance, they had several informants in the crowd that day and still didn’t stop the riot from getting out of hand.

Court documents reviewed by The New York Times show the FBI embedded eight informants with the “Proud Boys” group. months The capitol led to riots.

Before that, the Times reported that the FBI had another good informant inside the Oath Keepers, another group involved in the protest.

FBI Director Christopher Wray, when confronted with the possibility of the FBI being embedded in the group on January 6, refused to give a denial.

Wray said he was “very cautious” about answering questions about whether the bureau had informants dressed as Trump supporters in the group.

Will the videos made public by Tucker Carlson next week and the weeks after show evidence of the actions of these informants? Does it show that the Feds helped trigger the day’s events, as the poll suggests?
