ORANGE COUNTY, Calif. – An Irvine high school teacher was arrested Monday for secretly recording students in an all-sex bathroom.
Siu Kang Sit, 37, placed recording devices in the bathroom and recorded “several victims,” according to Irvine police.
A maintenance worker found the recording devices and turned them over to school administrators.
Siu Kang Sit was booked into the Orange County Jail and charged with possession (or manufacture) of child pornography, theft and two misdemeanor counts, according to police.

A teacher at Beckman High School in Irvine has been arrested after allegedly placing a hidden recording device in a bathroom at the school.
Siu Kang Sit, 37, of Santa Ana, placed recording devices in an all-sex restroom near the school’s pool, the Irvine Police Department said in a news release.
The devices were found by contract maintenance workers, who later turned them over to the administration of the Tustin Unified School District campus.
During the investigation, officials found that “multiple victims” had been recorded, and the department is trying to identify other victims depicted in the devices.
Sitt was arrested Monday at the school and booked into the Orange County Jail on charges of possession or production of child pornography, theft and two misdemeanor charges, police said.
