Dr. Kwabena Dafure stated this when he picked his forms to officially run for the flag bearership of the NDC.
He joins a growing list of figures in this regard to vie against former President John Mahama for the party’s ticket.
National Democratic Congress (NDC) Ashanti Regional Women’s Organizer Gloria Hughes has taken nomination forms for the former Bank of Ghana Governor.
Dr. NDC to lead the NDC to rescue the masses, especially women, from the hands of the present administration to the 2024 presidential elections. A bold candidate like Dufour is needed, said Madame Hughes.
“The place of the eagle is not the earth but the sky. The eagle will rise again, Ghana will rise again. Our government will bring the economy back in two years if voted. The first year will be a resurrection year. The second year, full recovery in 2025,” he said.
The NDC is expected to hold its parliamentary and presidential elections on May 13, 2023.
Submission of nominations will take place between Wednesday, February 22 to Friday, February 24, 2023 and submission and filing of forms will also take place from Monday, March 20, 2023 to Wednesday.
