Fox Business host Charles Payne lost it on Geraldo Rivera earlier this week after the two sparred over a video showing air raid sirens being heard as President Biden made a surprise visit to Ukraine.
Payne called the incident “phony.”
CNN described the scene as:
The president of the United States, in an overcoat and shades, strolled through Kyiv in broad daylight, visiting a historic church as air raid sirens wailed and standing openly with President Volodymyr Zelensky in the city’s wide, open and traditional St. Michael’s Square.
However, CNN reporter Alex Marquardt noted that the air raid sirens had been silent for days and only started blaring after Biden’s visit.
“I’ve been here for the last five days,” Marquardt said. “I didn’t hear any explosions. I didn’t hear any explosions until about half an hour ago, when President Biden was in the middle of Kyiv.”

Charles Payne goes over Geraldo
Some speculated that Marquardt’s comments during Biden’s visit to Kyiv were performance art for the air raid sirens. Count Payne among those who think it’s for show.
“The only thing I didn’t like about President Biden’s visit was the air raid sirens. That was the most phony baloney stuff,” he claimed.
Rivera countered that Ukraine had “lost 100,000 people,” while Payne didn’t deny calling it “Hollywood junk.”
Rivera accused Payne of taking undue “bias.”
“Russia was told Biden was coming,” Payne yelled. “Do you think Russia is going to drop a bomb on President Biden?!”
Rivera insisted that Payne was wrong to say that Russia was informed ahead of time, which was wrong.
ABC News reported that the United States alerted Russia to President Biden’s trip “hours before he arrived.”
Russia knew Biden was Ukraine! An air raid alarm symbolically identified Biden with Zelensky. You’ve never seen people scrambling for safety! But Geraldo Rivera didn’t like Charles Payne calling out the truth about the visit and what was fake etc.! pic.twitter.com/AYceFpOF6G

Paine rips NYC Mayor Eric Adams
Charles Payne has been on an absolute tear these days. And he does so with charm, a rapier wit and uber-fashionable suits to boot.
Earlier this week New York City Mayor Eric Adams absolutely ripped into Florida Governor Ron DeSantis when he criticized him during his recent visit to the city.
“Welcome to NYC,” Adams tweeted, “where we don’t ban books, discriminate against our LGBTQ+ neighbors, use asylum seekers as a base, or let the government stand between women and health care.”
The snide tweet continued: “We’d be happy to teach you something about values while you’re here.”
Welcome to NYC, @GovRonDeSantisA place where we don’t ban books, discriminate against our LGBTQ+ neighbors, exploit asylum seekers, or have the government stand between women and healthcare.
We are happy to teach you something about values while you are here. https://t.co/o2CgOt1SES

Adams and DeSantis have publicly sparred after the Republican governor began urging New York City to live up to its self-proclaimed reputation as a ‘sanctuary city’ by busing in illegal immigrants.
Payne metaphorically murdered Adams over the comments, starting with the city’s education system.
“Let’s start where you don’t ban books,” Paine fired back. “You can ban them in New York City, because our children can’t read. Ban them and burn them, because you won’t teach our children how to read. What good are books in the first place?”

As for the LGBTQABCXYZ community, Payne says everyone she knows is giving Florida a chance.
“LGBTQ — I don’t know any of my family members, friends, LGBTQ — the first minute they get, they’re off to Florida,” Payne added.
“They leave New York for Florida every weekend, they slip away on Friday and come back on Saturday. Are you kidding me? Yeah, [Florida] This is a big, bad spooky place, give me a break on that.
Anyone else bored? https://t.co/umNxeLmO55

Payne criticized Adams’ hypocrisy when it came to illegal immigrants.
“As soon as they go to the wealthiest places in America — New York City, Martha’s Vineyard — they say, ‘We can’t afford them, we’re scared, we’re clutching our pearls, how dare they send these people here?'” he said.
Florida is currently one of the top destinations for people fleeing blue states like New York.
