Award-winning entrepreneur Laura Wellington spoke with The Political Insider about a new dating app that matches people based on their preferred vaccination status.
Wellington, author of romance novels Be careful what you wish forHe said that he created the Zneex app from his own personal experience dealing with behaviors that display based on a personal medical decision.
“I created the ZNEEX app because, like many unvaxed conservatives, I lost a ton of friends when the pandemic hit and I refused to get vaccinated,” he said.
But, he notes, the same happens when roles are reversed.
“My app solves this dilemma,” he explained.

Wellington launched the Zneex app in December 2022 and said the revenue generated by the app and the number of its daily users are “growing daily”.
In a column for the American Thinker two months before the release, he explained his belief that the great uncertainty of unvaccinated men was that they would not consider dating vaccinated men.
Wellington said he knew the app would be “successful” after launching a video query about potential demand and receiving more than 80,000 responses.
“A lot of unvaxxed conservatives, unlike me, were alienated from their positions by their friends and so we all felt like islands in a storm,” he explained.
“The app helps them rebuild new friend groups around them, making them feel less lonely and protecting them from further madness given the need to have others like them to rely on when the shit goes down,” added Wellington.

The application is for both sides of the vaccine argument
The Zneex app currently has a “90% successful relationships” statistic on their website, and as Wellington notes, that’s for people on both sides of the vaccine argument.
“One’s health, wellness, and longevity depend on positive relationships in one’s life, and unwaxed conservatives are needed to restore them,” he says.
“On the flip side of that, a lot of waxed people don’t want to associate with unwaxed people, so giving them a way to find new friends that they feel comfortable with,” Wellington said.

However, choosing a relationship based on vaccination status is not about dividing people, the authors say.
“I didn’t want to create a platform of hatred and division but a model to live an individual life, accept differences and move forward as a unit,” he told The Political Insider.
He insists it is “what this nation can do if it chooses”.
“Supporting people, empowering them through positive relationships and getting them outdoors in the fresh air when they meet, can only help improve sanity, understanding and awareness,” Wellington said.
