Rock legend David Crosby died Thursday at the age of 81.
Born in Los Angeles, Crosby was a founding member of The Byrds and Crosby, Still & Nash.

Singer-songwriter-guitarist David Crosby was a founding member of two popular and hugely influential ’60s rock groups, the Byrds and Crosby, Stills & Nash (later Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young). He was 81 years old.
His wife released a statement to Variety saying, “After a long illness, our beloved David (Croze) Crosby has passed away with great sadness. He was surrounded by love by his wife and soul mate, Jan, and son Django. Although he is no longer with us, his humanity and kind spirit continue to guide and inspire us. will continue to give. His legacy lives on through his legendary music. Peace, love and harmony to all who knew David and those he touched. We will miss him dearly. At this time, we respectfully and kindly ask for privacy as we grieve and try to cope with our profound loss. Love and prayers Thank you.” …
