Father Edward Looney
In a 25-minute video, Father Edward Looney recounts his 23-month journey with tachycardia after being vaccinated.
“I thank you for joining me this evening and I meant to do it yesterday, Friday, the day after I was released but during the day and it never worked out…..then today I had a wedding evening Mass. Thanks to Father Tony, who was my other Mass , so I didn’t have to do three Masses back to back but could have a little break in between. He’s in his 80s and he had a Mass on Washington Island, so it was a long day for him.
“They said, ‘You’re one of our young men. You shouldn’t be having heart problems right now so we need to take care of you so you can continue to work.’

“So I just wanted to share a little bit… a lot of people know that I was in the hospital on Thursday and then I was there for about 14 hours. I went to the emergency room at four o’clock, no… I called somebody at 2:30 and they came and they saw me. Picked up and they took me to the emergency room in Green Bay and then I was admitted….”
“For whatever reasons…you know sometimes you feel like you can’t talk, but I think it’s important to share what’s going on…so I’d like to come back in February 2021…that’s highly encouraged. We’ll get the covid vaccine. .
“And in fact, the hospitals told us that we wouldn’t be able to visit people in the hospitals if we didn’t get vaccinated. We were told that we couldn’t go to the nursing homes if we didn’t get vaccinated. If we didn’t get vaccinated, there… there… it almost seemed like for the sake of your job.. .and you see it on job resumes and applications today…”
“So really, vaccinations were pushed on us.”
“It was in February, I was in the first wave of people getting the Covid vaccine … and actually, the first shot, I didn’t have an immediate reaction.”
“I would come home and I realized my heart rate was higher than normal….it was 110, 115 beats per minute. I was really tired as a result.”
Father Looney shares that later his symptoms worsened.

For the past 14 hours I have been a patient at St. Vincent’s for high heart rate. They don’t know the cause but doctors have prescribed medicine for treatment. I am being discharged this evening. 1/

This cross or resurrectionfix is in my room. It kind of pissed me off. I thought the crucifixion was meant to help us remember what Jesus suffered and that we can identify with him. As the day wore on, I realized that the cross of the Risen Christ was a symbol of hope and rising from sickness. pic.twitter.com/YYyoTvq4Dx
