NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden has uncovered two “real” scandals that no one is talking about when it comes to bombshell reports that President Biden classified documents stored in two separate locations from his time as vice president.
However, no one except political insiders.
Snowden, a man quite familiar with classified documents, generally downplayed the findings of classified documents, noting that “they’re all doing it” but pointing to the political benefit gained by the Department of Justice (DOJ) in Biden’s handling of it. of the subject.
“The real scandal is that Biden didn’t have classified documents coming out of his socks, because sadly they’re all doing it.” He tweeted.
“The scandal is that the DOJ found out about it a week before the midterm elections and decided to suppress the story, giving a partisan advantage,” Snowden added.

The Political Insider has pointed out many times how the DOJ managed to avoid leaking information about classified documents to the media, and the media somehow didn’t find out about it — or maybe they didn’t disclose it — for days. first For the mid-term.
“Wouldn’t you know it,” one such report says, “classified documents were found in this office on November 2, six days before the midterm elections.”
Do you remember anything? For example, say Hunter Biden’s laptop and the 2020 election?
Why hasn’t the FBI raided Biden’s house?! https://t.co/yHwgWor4hB

Snowden also points to a two-tier justice system in America. Wasn’t it the Democrats who repeatedly reminded Americans over the last several years that ‘no one’ is above the law?
Some actually turn up There are. Some privileges.
“It’s worth noting that the president got away with more classified documents than many whistleblowers,” he said. “For comparison, the reality winner was sentenced to 5 years for just one record.”
“Meanwhile Biden, Trump, Clinton, Petraeus… there are dozens, hundreds of these guys. There is no prison. “
And here’s the rub.
Also worth noting is that the president appears to have gotten away with more classified documents than many whistleblowers. For comparison, the reality winner was sentenced to 5 years for just one record.

There are countless others who have suffered far worse fates than, say, President Biden or former First Lady Hillary Clinton. (We are not putting Trump in the same category because he has had his home raided by the FBI and is currently facing criminal prosecution by the DOJ).
Navy sailor Christian Saucier used a cellphone camera to take photos in the classified engine room of a nuclear submarine where he worked as a mechanic. USS AlexandriaHe later destroyed the laptop, camera and memory card after learning that he was under investigation.
He used the ‘Hillary Defense’ to get out of his accusations. Saucier was convicted and sentenced to a year in prison in October 2016 for unauthorized withholding of national defense information, but was later pardoned by Trump.

Donald Willis Keyser earned a year in prison in 2005 when he “pleaded guilty to three-count criminal information in which he knowingly and unlawfully removed classified documents and digital memory devices from the State Department to his residence.”
United States Attorney Chuck Rosenberg said Keyser’s “prison sentence is a warning to others in positions of public trust.”
Turns out, this isn’t a warning at all.
“Yes, Trump and Biden and Hillary all mishandled classified documents,” Snowden writes.
“You can argue ‘who did it worse,’ or you can question whether we really need a system that oppresses ordinary workers who fall for it while condoning the same ‘crimes’ that elites do.”
A fair point, at any rate.
